Regulated legal professionals Search 190+ countries Free to search No commission on instructed work

My Legal Hub is a global legal marketplace that connects people and businesses with regulated legal professionals, searchable across 190+ countries. Searching is free and needs no account. Below are the questions we are asked most often.

Using My Legal Hub

What is My Legal Hub?

My Legal Hub is a global online legal marketplace and directory. It connects individuals and businesses with regulated legal professionals - attorneys, solicitors, barristers, notaries public, legal executives and specialist experts - and you can search across 190+ countries. It also offers free tools that help you understand a legal problem and reach the right kind of specialist. My Legal Hub is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice itself; the professionals listed are independent and regulated in their own jurisdictions.

Is My Legal Hub free to use?

Yes - completely free for anyone seeking legal help. Searching the directory, viewing professional profiles and making first contact is free, with no registration required. There are no search fees, no subscription cost for clients, and no commission charged on any work you go on to instruct.

Do I need to create an account to search?

No. Anyone can search the directory and browse profiles without an account or providing any personal information. An account is only needed if you want to save searches, manage enquiries, or use additional client features.

Can I find a legal professional outside my own country?

Yes. My Legal Hub is a global platform open to legal professionals in every country, and you can search across 190+ countries. Whether you need a conveyancing lawyer in Australia, an immigration attorney in the USA, a notary in France or a commercial lawyer in Dubai, you can filter the directory by country and practice area. Each listing shows the professional's regulator and registration number so you can check their status with the relevant body.

What types of legal professional can I find?

The full spectrum of regulated legal professionals: solicitors, attorneys, lawyers, barristers and advocates, notaries public, legal executives, and specialist experts such as expert witnesses, mediators and forensic accountants. The right professional for you depends on your country and the type of matter you need help with.

How does the AI matching work?

You describe your situation in plain language - no legal jargon needed. The platform interprets what kind of legal help the matter calls for and points you to the relevant practice area and to regulated professionals who cover it and work in the right jurisdiction. You then contact your chosen professional directly.

Does My Legal Hub give legal advice?

No. My Legal Hub is a marketplace and directory that connects you with independent, regulated professionals. It does not provide legal advice, does not act as your lawyer, and is not a party to any engagement you enter into with a professional you find through the platform.

Verification and trust

How do you verify the professionals listed?

When a professional lists, they give us their regulatory body and registration number and confirm their authorisation is current. We check that number against the public register where one is available - SRA-authorised firms are checked automatically against the SRA's register; for other regulators (Bar Standards Board, Faculty Office, Law Society of Scotland, OISC and overseas bodies) we cross-check periodically rather than at the moment of listing. Every profile displays the regulator and registration number, so you can always confirm a professional's status directly with their regulator - and we ask you to tell us if anything looks wrong.

How can I check a professional's regulatory status myself?

Each listing shows the regulator and registration number. You can enter those details on the regulator's own public register - for example the SRA's "Find a solicitor" service, the Bar Standards Board's Barristers' Register, or the equivalent official register in the relevant country - to confirm the professional is currently authorised.

What should I do if I have a concern about a professional I found?

Contact My Legal Hub through the site so we can review the listing. Complaints about the legal service itself are handled by the professional's firm and, if unresolved, by their regulator or the relevant legal ombudsman scheme - the listing tells you which body that is.

Costs

How much will a lawyer cost?

Fees vary widely by country, area of law and the complexity of the matter. Common models are hourly rates, fixed fees for defined work such as a property purchase or a will, and conditional or contingency fee arrangements for certain disputes. Many professionals offer a free initial consultation. Check each listing for the fees and services that professional or firm offers.

Does My Legal Hub take a commission or referral fee?

No. My Legal Hub does not charge clients, and does not take any commission or referral fee on work you instruct. Professionals pay for their own listing tier; that is the platform's only revenue from the directory.

For legal professionals

How do I list my practice on My Legal Hub?

Regulated lawyers and firms can start a free listing from the "Join as a Professional" page. Expert witnesses and other non-lawyer specialists list through the "List as an Expert" page. You provide your regulatory details, we check them against the public register where one is available, and the listing goes live once our checks pass.

Is there a free listing option?

Yes. A free listing puts you in the searchable directory with your practice areas, location and contact details. Paid membership tiers start at the Solo Practitioner plan (GBP 10 per month) and add a full profile page, enhanced visibility and additional features. A free listing does not include a standalone profile page.

What is the difference between a free listing and paid membership?

A free listing is a directory card - name, location, practice areas and contact details. Paid tiers (Solo Practitioner and above) add a dedicated profile page, higher placement in results, the ability to add a photo, logo and richer detail, and inclusion in the platform's AI-powered search. See the Pricing page for the full comparison.

Do I have to be regulated to list?

To list as a lawyer, yes - you must be currently authorised by a recognised legal regulator, and you confirm this when you apply. We check your registration number against the public register where one is available before your listing is published. Non-lawyer experts (expert witnesses, forensic analysts, mediators, forensic accountants) list under the separate Expert tier, where we review professional credentials and standing instead.
